Here’s a delightful recipe for a Red, White, and Blue Berry Trifle that’s perfect for any patriotic celebration:


  • 1 pound cake, cubed

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 2 cups blueberries

  • 2 cups raspberries

  • 3 cups vanilla pudding or custard

  • 2 cups whipped cream


  1. Prepare the Fruit:

    • Wash the berries and pat them dry.

    • Slice the strawberries if they are too large.

  2. Layer the Trifle:

    • In a large glass trifle dish, create a layer of cake cubes at the bottom.

    • Add a layer of vanilla pudding over the cake.

    • Arrange a layer of strawberries and raspberries on top of the pudding.

    • Add a layer of whipped cream over the berries.
